Dr Azizan Osman of Richworks conducts motivation seminar throughout Malaysia. Comdev has been working closely with Richworks since 2009 where we handled 27,000 participants in 2010. This year, Dr Azizan Osman looking at 30,000 participants nationwide.

How did we achieve 18% sales conversion on the website?

The Objectives > OUR MISSION
  1. We need to maximize the conversion rate to get people to register for seminar once they land on the Home page.
  2. We need to create more traffic and more sales using social media platform such as Facebook.

Strategy #1 : Sales Page

Instead of using common website layout, we design the Home page using sales page layout. Sales page layout is where let people focus on reading the content from top to bottom without links that they can click to other pages. When people read, they would be persuaded with the sales flow to get them register for the seminar. We highlighted on WHO, WHY, HOW, WHAT the program is about.

Strategy #2 : Videos

We make use of videos on the site to make it more interactive. We put up a 3-minute welcome video of Dr Azizan Osman where he gave an introduction of his new program.

We also produced a video of past seminar participants' testimonials as it is proven to be a lot more convincing as compared to text format.

Strategy #3 : Capture Opt-In

On the first fold of the website, we offer people to download the audio of Dr Azizan's last year seminar. Dr Azizan did not gave any recording at all but this year, he has made the exception by making it available on his website. We manage to capture few thousands of new prospects database from this method.

Once people sign up, it will trigger the auto-responder to send them the link to download the audio.

Strategy #4 : Follow Through Registration Box

As people read the content from top to bottom, we made the Registration Box always available to follow through when they scroll down. At any point when they are convinced to register for the program, they won't need to look elsewhere, which is just at the left column.

The registration process is simple in 3 easy steps: Pick the location, fill in particulars and pay online.

Strategy #5 : Multi-Level Social Affiliate

To drive lots of free traffic and increase sales on the website, we implemented a social affiliate registration system with multi-level commission payout.

Upon registration, each participant will be signed up as affiliate automatically. They could share their affiliate links on Facebook, Twitter, blog or website to promote the program. The commission payout structure; Level 1: MYR 10, Level 2: MYR 5 and Level 3: MYR 5 are allocated for every registration under their affiliate.

Affiliate can login to their account to share about the program in Facebook.

Commissions are calculated automatically for the admin to process the payout.

Project Conclusion

We saw very high publicity at Facebook sharing a lot about Dr Azizan's new program. We are glad for Dr Azizan to see that the tickets for Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru were sold out.
