1. What are hosted components?
Components are web-based application modules that run at your website, such as e-commerce, blog, photo album, etc. We name our software as components because we built them as plug-ins where they are flexible to use as your website functionalities. All components can be added or removed without any interference among each other. Therefore at anytime you need to use more components from us, simply click and install. That's all you need.
Hosted means that we host the entire website and components for you, including provide you with the web and email hosting space. We use cPanel as our base so that you can still use normal features provided by most web hosts.
2. What are the benefits of hosted model?
Hosted model is also meant by subscription model where you subscribe to our software and hosting facility as a service. The biggest advantage for you is that we continuously support you all the way by providing you with software and hardware upgrades. Whenever you encounter a problem, our support team is always here for you.
3. Are we allowed to upload our own files to the hosting account using FTP?
Yes. As our servers are running cPanel, you will be provided a cPanel login where you can still access your website using FTP. You can upload additional files to your website as long as you do not alter or remove our software files.
4. Can we use our own hosting server?
Although our hosted service comes with FREE hosting for you, you can still choose to host the applications at your own server. However, you will need to have a cPanel server and make sure that it is compliant with our software requirements.
The price to use the software at your own server is still the same. So, why not host it at our server so that you don't need to deal with technical stuff at all?
5. Where are your servers located?
Currently our servers are located in the AIMS data center in Malaysia. As we see our International customers growth, we will setup more servers in the United States and Europe.
6. What will happen if I don't renew the license on the following year?
Your website built using the Content Management will still be running. However, any functionalities that relate to the back-end will show a Trial or Expiry message.
7. How frequent will you update the software?
We are updating our software from time to time, enhancing the features, usability, bugs fixing to cater for on-going user requirements. Any new components released will be available as upgrade where you can test run and decide anytime you wish to activate the license.
